StarPlay has just released version 1.02 of Loony Labyrinth™. This new version fixes bugs found in the 1.01 version and also changes the rules slightly on how extra balls are obtained. This new change will considerably shorten play time for experts and make it harder to obtain high scores. The playability for most of us will not be affected.
The Loony Labyrinth™ Updater will update your Loony Labyrinth™ 1.01 application to version 1.02. Loony Labyrinth™ 1.01 must be installed on your hard drive to use the Updater. You may run it before or after you have entered your serial number. (The Updater cannot be used to update your installation disks. If you reinstall Loony Labyrinth™, you must use the Updater on the reinstalled application to update to version 1.02 again.)

About the Updater:
Note: The Loony Labyrinth™ 1.02 Updater will not destroy your Loony Labyrinth™ 1.01 version. It will allow you to save the updated application as version 1.02. It will also preserve any of your 1.01 high scores in the 1.02 version. After you have successfully run the Updater, your updated version will exactly match the new 1.02 version of Loony Labyrinth™ which is now being distributed by StarPlay.
Please begin using the 1.02 version for all game play where you intend to send in high scores to StarPlay. For the first several months, scores will be posted for both the 1.01 and 1.02 versions separately. After that, only 1.02 or later version scores will be posted. Only 1.02 or later versions may be used to compete in the year end high score contest and win prizes. The high score report will indicate if your score has come from the 1.02 version.

Using the Updater:
1. Disable any virus protection software. If you want to use a virus utility to check the Loony Labyrinth™ 1.02 Updater, do so first.
2. Double-click on the Loony Labyrinth™ 1.02 Updater icon.
3. Click on the Patch button.
4. In the next dialog box, locate your Loony Labyrinth™ version 1.01 file. Click Patch again and then Save to save the new version as Loony Labyrinth™ 1.02. You may discard your 1.01 version if the update is successful.

Loony Labyrinth™ 1.02 Enhancements
• The slope of the playfield has been altered so that it is more difficult to obtain an extra ball.
• You are now limited to getting no more than two extra balls per ball for a maximum total of six per game.
• You may now get 999 Labyrinth's and 999 Loony's. Previous high was 99 for these ramps.
• The high score report will indicate if your score has come from the 1.02 version. This number is now included at the end of the Confirmation Number.
• Maximum age is now 61535 A.D. Previous high was 30767 A.D. (Note, we are giving free t-shirts for maximum age obtained as well as high scores.)
• The rule for Ball Rescue is changed. There is now a time limit.
Loony Labyrinth™ 1.02 Fixes
• The L-O-O-N-Y lights no longer will stay lit after returning from 2000BC.
• The serial number will now always print on the high score report.
• When the ball is placed in the Mystery hole and you receive the "Full Charge Option", you will now be allowed to install the Stone and put the ball into the hole without getting "Access Denied".
• Several problems which occurred when you suspended the game and then Resumed have been fixed including loss of multi-ball mode and loss of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th players.
• The S-T-O-N-E lights will now stay lit or go out properly after you have gone back to 2000BC. If you fail to defeat the Minotaur, all S-T-O-N-E lights will go out even if you have extra balls.
